What records to I need for my company’s plant, equipment and tools?
A.
Maintenance Records – planned preventative or breakdown maintenance should be recorded.
Inspection Records – more complex plant and equipment will require regular inspections to ensure their safety. Some items will require statutory inspections i.e. Air Compressors & Receivers, Lifting Gear & Accessories, Local Exhaust Ventilation Systems (LEV).
Electrical Records – Mains Electrical Installation and Portable Appliance Testing.
